Spiders

Spiders are one of the most feared home invaders. The severity of a spider bite depends on factors such as the kind of spider, the amount of venom injected, and the age and health of the person bitten. A spider bite may cause no reaction at all, or it might result in itching, redness, stiffness, swelling, and pain, usually no more severe than a bee sting.

Spiders will primarily consume other insects. So if you can reduce the other insects around your home, spiders will be less interested in staying around the area. Most spiders like to hang out near light sources, as flying insects are more instinctively to move towards light. A web-spinning spider will let his meals come to him. Other types of spiders rely on jumping or running to catch their prey.
